Learn to Identify the Leadership Roles
in Your Current Company

Welcome to chapter number four of the chronicles of an entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur, you must deal with different worker roles. You probably do not know how to identify them well in what level of leadership they are, so as the great confidante that I am let me teach you how to identify the five levels of leadership

Level 1 Position

As an entrepreneur, leadership is not a noun. It is a verb. Your employees will only follow you at this level because you have the title, aka “the boss.’’ This is the beginning of your leadership role. This is where you have the most significant challenge. This is where you shape and define your leadership. This is where you get to know how you will be developing your leadership and determine who you are. But there is no perfect story in real life. You would have such challenges, and they are that at this level, you will find a downside the people who follow you will give you the least amount of their energy level. What does this mean in the #entrepeunership world? They will follow because they must follow you.

Level 2 Permission

Relationships are the foundation of leadership. At this level, the keyword is relationship! Your employee begins following because they want to and because they like you, you start connecting more with your people. Here the leader loves to serve, listen well, observe, and learn. I will give you a great tip in this step: try to be likable! It’s not good that people fear you. It’s good that they respect you and admire you.

Level 3 Production

What do I mean by production? This means that you start having results; as a leader, you start being productive, and how do you do this? By having a clear strategic plan, setting goals, work hard. Your employees, start following your example, “people do what people see.” Here the leader starts attracting people, so if you see any of your employees with these characteristics, you already know they are going on the right track it becomes easier to grow.

Level 4 People Development

Have you learned anything so far? Hopefully yes. As an entrepreneur, this level must excite you to see your employee performing at the most capacity. Aren’t you proud, papa bear? You start positioning them in the right place. You already know them so well. As You begin appreciating and noticing that what you have with you is an asset, you don’t want them to leave your side. If you’re going to be a successful leader, you need to make sure to discover the strength and the giftedness of your team.

Level 5 Panicle

Respect is the key! Here there is a significant amount of respect. You have been through the rollercoaster of learning leadership, so at this point, you’re a messiah of leadership employees who want to be like you, admire you and inspire them to be better.
